Event Guide – Free Ticket Alert

September 4th, 2007

Hi all!

No, no, the weekend is not coming early this week and this is NOT the normal Event Guide! Sorry! However, there are two deadlines coming up that are relevant if you want to participate in two free events ann I better tell you before it is too late.

The first event is already this Friday. It is a discussion about “Irish Culture: is there any left?” and I will attach the details below. It is a free event, but you need tickets to attend. See all relevant information below.

The second event is a bit further away, but the deadline for (free) ticket applications is this Friday. The event is part of the Dublin Theatre Festival and will take place on 28/29/30 of September at 20:00 and 22:00. The theatrical thriller is called “On the case” and will be performed high on a wall at George’s Dock at the IFSC. It will only last for 25 minutes but is described with “With breathtaking imagery and daring, acrobatic movement, this brilliant innovative show is a game of chance with altitude!” To get free tickets (unfortunately you can’t choose the day or the time) go to www.ulsterbanktheatre.ie/ before Friday. Ticket allocation is on a first-come/first-serve basis and the tickets will be sent to you if your application is successful.
Ulster Bank is the sponsor of the Dublin Theatre Festival and wants to celebrate this with this free event.

You will hear from me again soon,

–Joerg
