Hi all!

The new Year has started and I hope you had a good start! Happy New Year! :-) Now you have 366 days in 2020 to make it a year to remember. That’s 52 weekends and if things continue like in previous years, that equates to well over 1000 events just on the weekends and to close to 10,000 free events throughout the year. Since early 2019 I am not including all free events during the week in this weekly e-mail/post anymore, but you will still find all the free weekend events that I can find in this “Dublin Event Guide (for Free Events)”. So stay with us here and you will get lots of help to make 2020 memorable! ;-)

I got 203 responses to my Christmas Market questionnaire, which is a really great number! I will put all this information together and will provide it to the management of Dublin Castle, the OPW, Dublin City and the Department of Public Expenditure, which looks after the OPW to help with next year’s Christmas Market. But here is a very last chance if you haven’t added your response yet: If you have visited the Christmas Market “ChristmasAtThe Castle” at Dublin Castle and want to make your opinion about it known, you can still do that here: gturl.eu/XmasMarket until Thursday of net week (09 Jan).

To keep the Dublin Event Guide going for the next year, I need your support! Please click on all the “currencies” that Facebook loves (e.g. L, C and S), spread the word about the Dublin Event Guide and also there is the additional need to help funding the Dublin Event Guide. But the great thing is that helping doesn’t cost you a cent, all I need is a few clicks or taps. :-)

This is how the support works and it is really super easy:
Just go to www.DublinEventGuide.com and at the top you will find the sentence “Is this what you were looking for?”. Right below that sentence you should find a rectangular ad. Please click on it!
The ad might change every time you open/refresh the page, so I can’t tell you what it is promoting. And if you don’t see an ad there, please turn your Ad Blocker off and refresh the page and then do the clicking. ;-) Thanks!
If you click on the ad, I get between 5 and 30 cent. That is not much, but if enough people help, it will do the job to cover the cost to keep the Dublin Event Guide going. Some people have asked me for the Dublin Event Guide PayPal link for direct donations and here it is: www.paypal.me/DublinEventGuide

And now we come to some of this weekend’s free events. All events are sorted by start time, but watch out for the few events that have a “++” in front of them, the are particularly recommended. ;-) ALL events in this list are free, but some require booking! The market events that take place every week are only posted on the website at www.dublineventguide.com
