Dublin Event Guide (for Free Events) No. 610

Good morning! :-)

Met Eireann promised us that today would be the hottest day of the year with a crazy ;-) 27 degrees, but never trust a forecast that promises heat! Instead my reliable sources indicate that we will get just 21 degrees and there might even be some rain early morning and then from 11:00-14:00. Happy Summer! ;-)

This weekend the main events are the Dublin Pride events (Dublin Pride Parade and Dublin Pride Village) and the Flavours of Fingal festival. And there is another event that I want to draw your attention to: It is called Soapbox Science on Sunday from 12:00-13:00 and will happen in South King Street, Dublin 2. 12 female scientists will talk about their research from a “soapbox” in the street. There are some really interesting topics and all details are here soapboxscience.org/soapbox-science-2019-dublin/ Check it out!

Here is a new edition of the Dublin Event Guide with a brief listing of the free top events in Dublin. Thanks for your support last week and if it is ok with you, we will continue that approach and that way, I will not need to pester you for donations anymore. :-)
This is how the funding thing works (and it doesn’t cost you a cent!): Just go to www.DublinEventGuide.com and click on the ad banner that is at the very top of the page! If you don’t see an ad banner there, please turn your Ad Blocker off and refresh the page and then do the clicking. ;-) It is just a few cents that I will get, but if enough people click on it – and it only takes a few seconds! – , it might do the job to cover the cost for sending the Dublin Event Guide.

And here are some of this weekend’s free events. All events are sorted by start time, but watch out for the few events that have a “++” in front of them, the are particularly recommended. ;-) ALL events in this list are free, but some require booking!
