Some weeks come with big themes and some don’t. This is one of the simpler ones. Dublin is ticking along nicely, the days are getting longer and it’s a bit easier again to convince yourself to leave the house in the evening.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

From the middle of next week, I’ll be away for a few weeks, so the Dublin Event Guide will be a little shorter than usual during that time. It will still be there, just a bit more focused and to the point.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

That said, there is still plenty happening around the city. The mix of events keeps improving week by week and you can see that we are properly moving into the more active part of the year again. \nApril is the month of “One Dublin One Book”. Dublin City Libraries and Dublin UNESCO City of Literature are selecting one book every year that they suggest everyone should read in April. This year the book is “Christine Falls” by John Banville, a crime fiction book.
