Here we are again! Halloween is over and now we are officially on the home stretch of 2024. Christmas is firmly in site and the next 7.5 weeks will be great for Christmas-lovers and tough for Grinches (The Grinch is a grumpy, green-furred creature who despises Christmas, a fictional character created by Dr. Seuss in the 1957 children’s book “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!”)<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

For me, the earlier signs of Christmas are sweets in the shops. I love many of the Christmas sweets that supermarkets already sell for weeks and have a particular preference for Lidl’s product range, but my shopping trolley hasn’t seen a single Gingerbread cookie or Marzipan Figure after my wallet had words with the shopping trolley. If even Lidl sells their sweets for twice the price than they were about 3 years ago, then my sweet (Christmas) tooth will have a bleak future ahead.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
