The “Dublin Event Guide (for Free Events)” followers are a community. Maybe not a tightly knit community, but nevertheless a community of people with similar interests and I remember being told many times over the years that people who met at events and found out that they both heard about it from the Dublin Event Guide, felt as if they knew each other.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

This community is based on tolerance and inclusion and positivity. Neither Nationality nor gender nor ANY other feature or preference is an issue in this community and it will always be like that! What happened last night in Dublin, is shocking, inexplicable, totally unjustifiable and wrong, but it doesn’t define this country or its people. And it also does not define the future societal climate in Ireland.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

If people focused on the positive things in other human beings and on positive things in life, they would not wreck anything and they certainly would not wreck their own home!<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n<\/strong>From Thursday 23 Nov Dublin Port Company presents the exhibition “Solidarity \u2013 The Dockers of Dublin Port”. It will be on show in the newly refurbished Substation building on Alexandra Road and will describe the story of the dockers in Dublin Port, a story of hardship but also one of humour and resilience. The exhibition is open every Thursday until Sunday from 11:30-15:30.
