You see it already in the headline this week, today is a big day for me! This is the 800th edition of the Dublin Event Guide and that means that for 800 weeks, that’s more than 15 years, the “Dublin Event Guide (for Free Events)” has been created week after week and was sent to you.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

In these 800 editions, I have listed more than 100,000 free events as I have calculated recently and I have sent well over 10,000,000 e-mails to all the subscribers. These are just MAD numbers, but they are also remarkable\u00a0numbers. Crazy what accumulates over time!<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\nDublin City has a new app that allows us to discover iconic Dublin landmarks such as the famine statues, the CHQ building and more.

\nAfter you got the app, you can point your phone at the landmarks and this will prompt the related images, videos and stories to pop up.
\nThe app uses Augmented Reality (AR), a mix of 3D graphics, animation and audio, to immerse users in the story of the city.
