+++ Tuscan Buffet Party [Ad] <\/strong>
\nDo you like Italian Food and Wine? Then this event, organised by Gianni from the “Italian Food and Wine in Ireland” meetup group, is definitely for you! Gianni invites to the Mount Merrion Community Centre, where on Sun 20 Nov from 17:45-21:00 he will introduce you to a great variety of delicacies from the region in Italy he comes from. There will be breads, cold cuts, sausages and cheeses on a buffet and there will be Tuscan wine.
\nMeet other foodies and friends of Italy and of Italian food and find out more about Tuscany.
\nThe Mount Merrion Community Centre is only 500 metres from the N11 (Stillorgan Road) which is served by the bus routes 46A, 155, 145, 7B and a good few more. So it is really easy to get there. There is also plenty of free parking.

+++ Science Week 2022\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

From Sunday 13 Nov until Sunday 20 Nov, the Science Week 2022 will take place. Science Week includes a wide variety of events involving industry, colleges, schools, libraries, teachers, researchers and students throughout Ireland. The festival is organised by Science Foundation Ireland. In addition to the many individual events here https:\/\/www.sfi.ie\/events\/<\/a>, there will be 19 STEM Festivals around the country, six online Science Week Shows (for Primary and Post-Primary Schools) and an immersive outdoor installation in Merrion Square Park in Dublin (16-19 November) exploring human biology through light, sound and fire, called “BODY @ Science Week” (Booking required and some slots are already booked up. Booking link see above in Thursday and Friday listing.)
\nI counted more than 40 free events in Dublin and you can find them by using the selectors on the left hand side on the https:\/\/www.sfi.ie\/events\/<\/a> page. Only a small number are in the listings above, so I strongly recommend that you check the event on the website. +++ Lego Model of Glendalough\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Artist Jessica Farrell used 44,388 Lego bricks to recreate Glendalough and on Saturday and Sunday the model is on display in the National Museum in Kildare Street. https:\/\/www.museum.ie\/en-IE\/Museums\/Archaeology\/Events\/2022\/10-122022\/Science-Week-Glendalough-LEGO-Open-Day<\/a>
\nAnd if you like Lego models then do NOT miss the model of the National Library, which is in the lobby of the National Library, just next to the National Museum in Kildare Street. I LOVE the model of the National Library. It is so realistic and detailed, just amazing!!<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

+++ Christmas at the Castle – Booked OUT :-(\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Christmas Market at Dublin Castle will be back from 08-21 December, but unless you were super fast or very very lucky, you and I will NOT see it this year. :-( Odd that for a Christmas Market tickets are required, but in crowd-control-obsessed Dublin nothing surprises.

+++ Housing Unlocked Exhibition <\/strong>
\nThe “Housing Unlocked” exhibition is described as a celebration of innovation, optimism and imagination. Eight architect-led proposals will be presented that are intended to unlock the housing potential in our villages, towns and cities.
\nHousing Unlocked is a partnership between the Irish Architecture Foundation and The Housing Agency.
