+++ IDEAL HOMES EXHIBITION – FREE TICKETS<\/strong>
\nThe Ideal Homes exhibition is one of the fixed events that comes every year twice and that is especially for home owners who are interested in extending, expanding or equipping their home. It takes place in the RDS and after many years of free tickets on some of the days, the last year or so, “free” was not a popular word anymore with the organisers. But this year the re-start needs a bit of help and therefore there will be lots of free tickets available, but you have to hurry, because the offer could stop any day. +++ Open House Dublin 2021<\/strong>
\nOpen House is that great event where you can get access to buildings that you normally will not get access to. It is run by the Architecture Foundation and you will find out about WHY a building was built in a certain way. What did the architect think, what influenced him or her? It\u00a0will return on 15-17 October, but apart from the online screenings, all in-person events need booking and nearly everything is booked out. BUT I was able to find a few that still have some spaces, so do spend the time checking through the list of events at\u00a0http:\/\/www.openhousedublin.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

+++ National Gallery tickets available here<\/strong>
\nThe National Gallery is usually free anyway, but in current times you will have to book tickets to get access and you have to enter the building on the Merrion Street side. Tickets are available here: https:\/\/www.nationalgallery.ie\/visit-us\/book-your-ticket<\/a> The National Gallery also is running events again and because the events have limited number of spaces, they can book out relatively fast, at least before I can write about the events, so check out the events 1-2 weeks in advance here https:\/\/www.nationalgallery.ie\/whats-on<\/a> and then book tickets for them.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

+++ Visit Dublin Castle for free<\/strong>
\nUntil the end of 2021, entry to Dublin Castle is free for all visitors. You will be able to visit the State Apartments on a self-guided tour. There are currently no guided tours and therefore the Medieval Undercroft and Chapel Royal are not accessible. Opening hours are Mon-Sun & Bank Holidays: 09:45-17:45 (last admission 17:15). Tickets can be booked at https:\/\/dublincastle.admit-one.eu\/?p=calendar&ev=SELFGUIDE<\/a> for free there will also a limited number of tickets available at the ticket desk.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
