Just a few more days and half of 2021 is over already. That went fast! And at the same time it went excruciatingly slow. :-O But as we saw a few weeks ago, things will pick up speed now, if the people that make the rules want it to. Since there will be continuously new variants, it seems that some of the rule makers would prefer us locked away for good, but we can hope that sense will prevail! I am keeping my fingers crossed!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Indirectly connected to that, I had an interesting experience during the week:<\/p>\n

I expressed an pinion\u00a0and assessment regarding what is happening at the moment in Ireland in the comment section of TheJournal .ie.<\/p>\n

It\u00a0wasn’t one of those mad rants that you read there often and it wasn’t any of the crazy off-the-wall comments that make you shake your head. No, it was a balanced, fact based and well considered comment.<\/p>\n

After posting it, it was up for about 12 hours, got a LOT of Likes and then the “journalists” at the Journal decided to remove my comment completely. :-( Censorship in Ireland!? Hmmm!
\nI guess I can remove the experience of being censored from my bucket list! :-O<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No censorship here! But free cultural events don’t need censorship anyway. Mind you, Facebook is not making it easy at the moment to find all the things that are happening. It is a LOT more work than before they changed layout and search functionality.

\nAfter a very very busy June, the number of festivals for July is tiny. That is no surprise, since July and August are seen as “holiday months” even if we still can’t go anywhere.
