The world is our Oyster!? is a saying that was allegedly sterted by Shakespeare in 1602. (It means that you can be anything you want and go anywhere you want to.)<\/p>\n

With the expansion of our “oyster” from 5km to 20km it NEARLY feels like the world is endless again, doesn’t it. ;-)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Well, NEARLY! But at least all is going in the right direction – for now! And in a few weeks maybe even museums and galleries will open again. :-O Pubs & Restaurants? Hmmmm, not for another long while it seems.<\/p>\n

Spring is also coming. So there is definitely new room for optimism. And it is a 100% certainty that events will start again a some point in our lifetime, I guarantee you that!<\/p>\n

On the flipside and while the UK is celebrating with big crowds in Soho and we are grateful for the tiniest permission to walk a little further, Germany is NOW introducing curfews from 21:00-05:00. Let’s hope that our numbers will stay low.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

+++ MusicTown Festival<\/strong>
\nEach April a Music Festival takes place in Dublin. Initially it was planned for April because of the significant 13 April date. On 13 April 1742 H\u00e4ndel’s Messiah was first performed in a music venue in Temple Bar and the Music Town Festival was meant to incorporate the yearly commemoration of this event.
\nThis year the “Messiah on the Street” performance that normally takes place on 13 April didn’t happen for understandable and obvious reasons, but oddly the Music Town Festival was moved away from 13\u00a0April. It started on 15 April and will run until 25 April. All events are taking place online and nearly all of them are free, which is a first and a great opportunity this year for you to participate.
\nOver 10 days, producers, artists and musicians work together, celebrating music of all genres in both established venues and unorthodox locations. https:\/\/www.musictown.ie\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

+++ New Music Dublin<\/strong>
\nAnd a second music festival is taking place this month:\u00a0New Music Dublin is a contemporary music festival that happens in the National Concert Hall and other venues throughout Dublin. It runs from Fri 23 – Mon 26 April and all events are free. There is also a projection of musicians that is done in cooperation with the Music Town Festical. \nLast week I found something for the curious people who always are open to learn new things. ;-) It is an article in the New\u00a0York Times about “A Tiny Particle\u2019s Wobble Could Upend the Known Laws of Physics Experiments with particles known as muons suggest that there are forms of matter and energy vital to the nature and evolution of the cosmos that are not yet known to science.” A slightly complicated headline, but this is BIG!! It seems that muons do not stick to the rules of physics that we always assume as universal. Watch this space!
