If you read this on Facebook, then I need a few seconds of your time! You know that Facebook rewards people for writing interesting posts, right? The more interesting a post is, the more people will be shown it. And Facebook judges this by how many people leave any sort of feedback. Could you help and lave a little remark?? Thanks!!<\/span><\/p>\n

We are still in the twilight zone between lockdown and normality as far as live events are concerned and who knows how much longer that will last. Live music and especially singing is currently seen as a high risk activity and the short to medium term outlook is bleak. In a country that has a huge amount of musicians and bands and where enjoying live music is a big part of our normal “going out routine” this affects lots of people. <\/span><\/p>\n

Something needs to be done to help the performers and artists, but during a time where help is needed in LOTS of places, that is not an easy thing to do. But please let me know if you have some good ideas!<\/span><\/p>\n

How are YOU doing? How are you coping with all the ongoing changes? Some people just get through difficult times as if they were made for it and others struggle seriously. But if you don’t find it too easy, remember that you are not alone and talk to people that you trust about how you struggle. It will continue to get better!!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Weather forecast for this weekend looks really good, so make use of it and get out! ;-)<\/span><\/p>\n

1) Virtual Tour of the week
\nWith this week’s virtual tour is related to the next section here, No 2). 2) Free Access to Guinness Storehouse for Frontliners
\nThe Guinness Storehouse is re-opening again and they have 100 free tickets per day (until 31 Dec!!) for Frontline Workers (including healthcare, public transport, postal services, supermarkets, haulage, utilities). So if are from one of these industries and have a Work ID, you can visit the Storehouse and you will also get a free pint.

3) Free Books for kids
\nThe app “Rivet” is providing more than 3500 free books for kids! The https:\/\/rivet.area120.com\/<\/a> The books are age and skill categorised<\/p>\n

4) Phoenix Park Gates re-opened!
\nGreat news! The OPW listened to the justified complaints about lack of due process regarding the closure of the Phoenix Park Gates and thez have opened them again yesterday (Friday). That doesn’t mean that they will stay open forever, but the correct procedure is to assess the consequences fully before a decision is made that will affect lots of people. So the gates are open (for now) and a public consultation will be launched to gather the opinions and viewpoints of all affected.
\nIt is the right decision and I wonder if the new government had some impact on this decision. https:\/\/www.thejournal.ie\/phoenix-park-gates-reopen-5146133-Jul2020\/<\/a><\/p>\n

This newest book about Donald Trump is written by his niece, a clinical psychologist, and has the title “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man” by Mary L. Trump.
