New Year’s Eve Light Show and New Year’s Day Concert<\/span><\/h1>\n

Hi all!<\/span><\/p>\n

I am still away (visiting family) and had originally planned to send the next Dublin Event Guide (for Free Events) not before next weekend, but how can I not give you at least one or two suggestions for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day? ;-)<\/span><\/p>\n

So this is just a super short Dublin Event Guide and normal service resumes soon, but I would like to take the opportunity to ask you once again to make your opinion about the Christmas Market “ChristmasAtThe Castle” known. You can do that here:<\/span> https:\/\/gturl.eu\/XmasMarket<\/a>
\nA good few people have filled in the questionnaire already, but I need another 30+ to have a significant enough number to go back to the organisers with all that gathered information. And with less Dublin Event Guides this month, I would really appreciate if you could support the Dublin Event Guide in my effort to cover the bills. The great thing is: Helping doesn’t cost you a cent, all I need is a few clicks or taps. :-)<\/span><\/p>\n

\nStreet food and live music will be provided at George’s Dock, outside the chq Building. In the chq Building an interactive marine experience will be delivered.

\n+ Liffey Lights Midnight Moment 23:30 George’s Quay, Dublin 2
\nThis is a video projection of the “Solar Symphony” onto the walls and\u00a0 buildings surrounding the Custom House Quays. It will be accompanied by a musical score performed live by a 20 piece orchestra and other musicians from a stage in the Liffey and there will also be aqua beams, lasers and a pyrotechnic show at midnight. The Liffey Lights Midnight Moment can be viewed from George’s Quay on the South Side.
\n(It will not be a fireworks display in the traditional sense, but there will be some limited fireworks elements.)
\nAdmission is free and tickets are not required. There is also an earlier show from 18:00-19:30, but this Matinee show is ticketed and all tickets are long gone. For the midnight show no ticket is required.
