Hi all!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Christmas Market at Dublin Castle is open since Thursday and will be open until 22 Dec (12:00-20:00 every day) and you will find some pictures on the Dublin Event Guide Facebook Page. The next thing people asked me was “And? How is it?” If you read this Dublin Event Guide regularly, you know that I am a big Christmas Market Fan and that I also want a really nice long-term Christmas Market in Dublin, so with that in mind, here is my honest assessment:<\/span><\/p>\n

It is a really nice Christmas Market in a beautiful surrounding and it has HUGE potential AND you should go there. BUT, it is definitely not perfect yet. The market is much too small, the goods being sold are less Christmassy and crafty than they should be and the “food village” (in a big plastic tent) could be done much better. But why am I suggesting you still go? Well, only if there are plenty of visitors it will survive the first year. So, visit the market, but make your opinion known! If I can, I will put a survey together for you to answer and will send the results to the organisers. Watch out for this survey in one of the upcoming Dublin Event Guide newsletters.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Gospel Christmas At Gardiner Street!<\/span>
\nFor many years, I am involved with the Gardiner Street Gospel Choir, looking after sound and all technical matters. So occasionally I am cheeky and post a non-free event notice here if I am part of the event. And the event I need to tell you about is our Christmas Concert on Thur 19 Dec at 20:00 in Gardiner Street Church. It will be brilliant and it has been a sell-out success every year since we started it some years ago. We have a few tickets left (EUR 15\/12, under 12 year olds are free but need a ticket) and you can buy tickets here:<\/span> http:\/\/tickets.thegsgc.com<\/a><\/p>\n

Christmas Help for the Dublin Event Guide needed!<\/span>
\nThe Dublin Event Guide is completely free to you! But there are bills for sending it and hosting the website etc that have to be paid and I am looking for your help. The great thing is that you don’t have to spend any of your own money, all I need is a a few clicks or taps. Super easy and fast! And afterwards you should feel great, because I do REALLY appreciate your help! Your few clicks keep the Dublin Event Guide alive! :-)<\/span><\/p>\n

This is how the support works and it is really super easy:<\/span>

\nThe ad might change every time you open\/refresh the page, so I can’t tell you what it is promoting. And if you don’t see an ad there, please turn your Ad Blocker off and refresh the page and then do the clicking. ;-) Thanks!<\/span>
